Teresa was born in New York and spent the first half of her childhood in New Jersey. She moved to the Bay Area at nine years old. She is Chinese American and is conversationally fluent in Mandarin. Teresa draws inspiration from the works of Maya Angelou, Gloria Steinem, Amy Tan, and Paulo Coelho. And, she's obsessed with Beyonce and Hello Kitty!
