Umera's background as a first-generation college student and Muslim-American provides her a unique cultural lens to view, sense, experience, and advocate for diversity. In her own words, "I have benefitted a lot being a student at the community college. I feel great living the dream now to see life come in full circle--serve the students at the Community College where I began!"
She also serves as the primary contact for student-athletes and Athletics.
