Medeina is a healthcare professional with over 22 years in healthcare, business, and leadership. She is a forward-thinking, outcomes-oriented leader who demonstrates professional savvy and accountability. Mentoring that she received during diverse experience in clinical practices facilitated her smooth transition to the mid-manager and nurse executive levels. She is a highly accomplished professional with business acumen in Academic Level 1 Trauma (850+ beds) Systems, Community based (70-330 beds) and Critical Access Healthcare settings. Within the healthcare delivery system, her diverse administrative leadership responsibilities include Educational Institution from secondary school, high school and college settings, Ambulatory Care, Acute Care, and Post-Acute Care.
She is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of San Francisco, has a Masters in Nursing from the University of San Francisco, Post-Baccalaureate Nursing from Cal State Fullerton and Bachelors in Nursing from Felician University in New Jersey. She is highly experienced in reconciling “present state” data and achieving “future state” goals. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong personal drive have been assets in achieving the goals of the multicultural communities she’s served and the companies of which she has partnered.
