Sub-Committee Reports to: GAP
Charge: The Mission College Organizational and Professional Development Committee will be constituted as a standing committee of Mission College. The Committee will report to GAP.
- To guide implementation, oversight and review of the Mission College Organizational and Professional Development Plan.
- Coordinate College Flex Day Activities.
- To make recommendations to the college and to the district on policies and procedures.
- To serve as liaison with the District related to staff development matters and Flex activities.
- Plan staff/professional development activities.
- Review and make recommendations regarding staff/professional development accreditation standards
Two ad-hoc will operate under the umbrella of the Organizational and Professional Development Committee.
The Flex Day Ad-Hoc committee will have members (2-4) appointed via the Academic Senate with the charge of developing a recommended Fall and Spring Flex Day Schedule. Two members of the ad-hoc committee will serve as representatives on the Organizational and Professional Development Committee
The Classified Professional Development Committee will have members (2-4) appointed via the Classified Senate with the charge of recommending professional development opportunities. Two members of the ad-hoc committee will serve as representatives on the Organizational and Professional Development Committee.
