2nd Annual Black & Brown Summit

This year’s theme is "Moving Forward Together" and the program features keynote speaker Yosimar Reyes, a nationally acclaimed poet and public speaker born in Guerrero, Mexico and raised in Eastside San Jose.
The goal of the Summit is to empower our students of color and other disproportionately impacted populations.
By offering a space to engage with the community, students may increase their self-worth, acknowledge their culture/s, and consequently excel in academics.
All West Valley-Mission students, faculty, staff, and administrators are welcome to join us in community.
