How to Get Priority Registration - 3SP
Early Priority Registration is given to eligible students that complete the following by the established deadline. Please see our Student Success and Support Program (3SP or SSSP) for all the steps.
Where to Find Priority Registration Dates
Priority Registration Groups with 3SP completed
The following groups meet 3SP Requirements (completed an Educational Plan, Self-placement and Orientation) and receive Priority Registration for registration dates (Go to Registration Dates Tab)
Group 1 - State mandated groups
EOPS/CARE, CalWORKs, Veterans, Foster Youth, Homeless, DSPS
Group 2 - Continuing
Athletes, ASG, Honors, MESA, TRiO, Puente, Umoja, MECHS, International, Middle College,
College Advantage and Grandfathered groups
Group 3 - New and returning students
Priority Registration Groups without 3SP completed
The following groups meet DO NOT meet 3SP Requirements (completed an Educational Plan, Self-placement and Orientation) and receive Priority Registration for registration dates (Go to Registration Dates Tab)
Group 4 - State mandated groups
EOPS/CARE, CalWORKs, Veterans, Foster Youth, Homeless, DSPS
Group 5 - Continuing students
Athletes, ASG, Honors, MESA, TRiO, Puente, MECHS, International, Middle College, College

Appealing Your Priority Registration
Do you believe you should have a different priority registration date?
The Priority Registration Appeal form for Summer/Fall 2022 will be available online from March 25th, 2022 to April 7th, 2022 at 5pm.

In order to get Priority Registration...
Complete by the third Thursday in March for Spring or third Thursday in October for Fall:
- Self-placement - Complete the English/Math Placement Assistance Tool located on the Placement & Assessment Services web page.
- Orientation - Take one of a variety of counseling classes.
- Educational Plan - Schedule an appointment with a counselor and come up with an ed plan today.
