Athletics

Job types: Basketball Scoreboard/Scorebook

Description: During women's basketball season watch the game from press row and take care of the scoreboard, shot/game clock or scorebook. Extreme reliability a must. Some athletics knowledge preferred. Games are nights and weekends. Pay is $40 per game.

Academic Support Center/Tutoring Center

Job Type: Student Assistant

Description:

The Academic Support Center is looking for two 10 hr./wk. assistants to work on campus at the ASC lab. The position is FWS funded; applicants must be receiving Financial Aid and be eligible for work study.

Student workers in this role support the tutoring center but do not provide academic tutoring. We are looking for an assistant to greet incoming students and assist with the check in process, perform light clerical duties, help students with printing & scanning, & help with organizing and cleaning of our study space and computer lab during open hours (M-Th 10-4pm.) We are looking for candidates who are friendly, service oriented, & organized. Applicants need to be vaccinated to work on site at the Academic Support Center.

Pay is $20.75 /hr.

Bookstore

Job types: Bookseller

Description: Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with the purchase of merchandise or services. Shelve, arrange, clean, and organize product or space within the store to maintain an appealing sales floor Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments. EOPS

Job types: Student Assistants

Description: Log 8 to 18 hours a week as an office assistant, answering/sending emails, calling EOPS students, scheduling appointments, helping students apply to EOPS, participating in EOPS outreach events and assisting with events and projects.

KJ's Cafe

Job types: Baristas for Gillmor and Student Engagement Centers

Description: We are looking for outgoing, friendly, baristas who know how to have fun while working hard. We understand school is the priority and will work around your class schedule.

We are looking for students to fill shifts between 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Thursday.

Marketing Office

Job types: Graphic Design Intern

Description: The graphic design intern will be overseen by the Marketing Office's Graphic Designer and perform tasks such as creating campus logos, campus collateral such as flyers, posters and newsletters, as well as HD screens for promotion of the college's programs.

MESA

Job types: Tutors, Academic Excellence Workshop Facilitators, Student Assistants, Peer Mentors

Description: Our MESA student staff support our MESA students academically and socially, creating a STEM environment dedicated to both STEM equity and helping near-peers cultivate the motivation to continue along the transfer pathway. Our Academic Excellence Workshop Facilitators also work with general STEM students, leading weekly study groups for a variety of STEM classes. Are you a MESA student? Police/Public Safey Department

Job types: Community Service Officer

Description: No previous experience needed! All training needed is provided on the job. Worried about class? We have extremely flexible scheduling with day and evening shifts available. Patrol ensures the safety and security of the campus.

They enforce parking regulations, crowd and traffic control, special events patrol, provide escorts and asssit District Police during an emergency.  Pay is $15.75 to start and regular increases up to $18.75 per hout. $22 per hour during special events. Work up to 18 hours per week and 37.5 hours during the summer.

Saints Cafe

Job types: Cashier or Cook

Description: Located in the Campus Center, the Saints Cafe offers a wide range of food options. They are currently open weekdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cooks earn $20 per hour and Cashiers earn $17 per hour. Please send resume and cover letter to contact below.

Student Activities Office

Job Type: Brand Ambassador

Description: We are seeking two bilingual Basic Needs Ambassadors, preferably Spanish speakers, for the remainder of the academic year. These students will play a critical role in supporting their fellow students and connecting them with resources on and off campus, including CalFRESH benefits. Job types Student Assistant

Description: TRIO student assistants will staff the front desk and perform basic office functions; respond to inquires about the program and refer them to the appropriate staff; schedule appointments for managerial personnel with Outlook and Cranium Cafe; assist students in applying for TRIO and help and main filing systems and databases, some of which may be of sensitive nature.

Job type: Statistics Tutor

Description: Respond to inquiries about the program. Refer students to appropriate campus and/or community resources. Be knowledgeable in how to apply and fill out paperwork as it pertains to the program. Provide individual and small group tutoring to students. Schedule tutoring appointments for students using an online appointment software system. Document tutoring sessions and input data into Student Access, an online database. Provide academic support through building rapport. Share experiences and information on student success. Assist students in improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to

clarify learning problems and work on study skills. Review class material, discuss the text, predicting test questions, formulating ideas for papers, or work on solutions to problems. Coordinate at least one community building event per semester. Assist program faculty and staff with special projects as assigned
